HL7 patient education interfacing with your EMR & PHR

Krames StayWell patient education applications – including Krames On-Demand^® and Krames Exit-Writer^® – can integrate with your EMR. Krames Interface Engine enables transmission of patient and education results data between Krames StayWell applications and your EMR using HL7 messaging enabling documentation without impacting workflow. We offer two interfaces:

• ADT Interface – Allows Krames StayWell applications to receive patient demographics data from the EMR (name, patient and visit identification numbers, date of birth, sex, and address) and registration information (admission and discharge dates/times, status, unit)
• Results Interface – Sends patient education transaction data (patient, date/time, educator, education topics, notes, and education assessments) to the EMR

The Infobutton Standard

We also offer an Infobutton solution for clients that license our content for their EHRs and patient portals. And because Krames StayWell content has been tagged to more medical vocabularies including SNOMED, LOINC, RxNORM, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and MESH than any other vendor, we can deliver context-aware knowledge retreival with a degree of sensitivity and specificity that no other vendor can provide for both your clinicians at the point of care and for patients visiting your portal.
